2019年4月に小学1年生を迎える6歳の少女の為にデザインされたデスク。
本棚に使用されている素材はホワイトオーク無垢材にRBIWAX（蜜蝋）仕上、重厚感を与える為に天板にはウォルナットを使用し脚には本棚と同じくホワイトオーク無垢材にRBIWAX（蜜蝋）仕上、引出のハンドルはウォルナット無垢材削り出しがポイントになっている。
ウォルナットとRBIWAX（蜜蝋）仕上を組み合わせることにより立体的なカラーバランスになるよう試みた。

少女の新しい門出に祝福の意を込め末永く愛着を持って使用してもらるようデザインされたデスクです。

I designed a desk for a six-year old girl who started at school in April 2019.

I used white solid oak for the bookshelf and the legs, which were finished with Briwax (honey). The desk board and handles were both finished with solid walnut. The handles were carefully carved from solid walnut.

I tried to create a 3D colour effect by combining walnut and Briwax (honey). I designed this to celebrate a new chapter of her life; I am hoping she will like it and will be attached to it for a long time.
