限られた予算のため、既存の空間のもつ可能性（要素）をどう活かすかが今回のデザインの課題として考えられた。
そこで、既存の空間の特徴である大きなはめ殺し(Fix)のガラス窓からの景色、見通しの効く空間構成を最大限に活かし、
クライアントが自由に使い方を変化させることができる空間を目指した。

サロンでゆっくりと過ごしてもらうため、それぞれの来客者に合ったおもてなしのできるように客席を配置している。
また、スタッフが動きやすく、心のこもった対応ができる空間となっている。

ヘアスタイルの変化を楽しみつつ街の風景を見てゆっくり過ごしながら、
落ち着いた雰囲気のシャンプー台でリラックスする。
そんなふうに、モノトーンでミニマルな空間でくつろぎを感じながら過ごしてもらえたらと考えている。

The budget was limited so the focus of my design was how to utilise the elements of existing space.

I used the existing large glass window as the centre of my design and kept the space as open as possible so that my client can easily change the use of it.

In order for customers to relax at the salon, I purposely kept space between the chairs so that staff can provide a tailor made service for each customer and also to ensure they can move around the space easily.

I hope customers will enjoy getting their hair done around the minimum design whilst enjoying the view from the window and be able to relax in the comfortable shampoo chair.
