HORISAKI DESIGN x YUKIO KIMURA, KRÄFTE YUKIO KIMURA DESIGN STUDIO – HORISAKI HAT POLE –
HORISAKI DESIGNの2017春夏コレクションのため可動式HAT POLEをHORISAKI DESIGNと共同デザイン。
「木と鉄のミックス・枝が生えたような直立・可動式」という要望から作成。
HORISAKI HATより流れるラインから、
天然木のもつ柔らかなストロークを経て雑然と並ぶ錆鉄に繋がる。
一つとして同じ線は存在せず、人に寄り添う曲線に金属質な質感を持ち合わせた
HORISAKI HATの持つその両極性が際立つようデザインにした。
地面より突き出したポールはシンプルながらも帽子を形のままに保管する。
このハンガーはL字に配置され、あらゆる動線につながるよう変化が可能。
スウェーデンの片田舎に位置するデザインスタジオHorisakiは、職人による高級帽を制作しています。
MakotoとKarinは、スウェーデンのスマランドにある農場でスタジオを経営し、インハウスでの制作を行っています。
日本とスウェーデンのルーツを伝統技法に組み合わせ、クラフトマンシップと手作業への愛情をヘッドピースにふんだんに注ぎます。
HORISAKI DESIGN and kräfte collabolated and designed the movable hat pole together for HORISAKI DESIGN Spring/Summer 2017 collection.
It needs to look like branches are coming out from a tree and be made of wood and iron.
As a solution, we designed a group of hat poles.
We made a smooth line using the shape from a HORISAKI HAT as well as using the natural wood to create a dramatic effect.
Each pole has its own uniqueness and the iron adds sharpness to the design.
The poles coming out of the ground are simple yet great for hanging a hat.
We designed the bottom part of the L shape which allows you to create a hat display even if space is limited.

Located in the heart of the Swedish countryside,
design studio Horisaki creates exclusive artisanal hats.
Run by Makoto and Karin Horisaki, the company features an in-house
production that takes place directly in their farm in the county of Småland, Sweden.
Their love for craftmanship and manual labour reflects into their headpieces,
which combine their Japanese-Swedish roots with traditional millinery techniques.
