幻視 “hallucination” – Magnetic hanger system –

OBSCURの2015秋冬コレクションのためのハンガーシステムをOBSCURと共同デザイン。
その明確なフォームやラインを最大限に引き出せるよう柱や装飾はつけず、
天井より垂れ下がる黒鉄の角パイプから直線にて続くハンガーは自在な角度で取り付けが可能。
無機質な空間に浮遊するコレクションの数々がその明確な存在と堅実性を誇示することになる。

OBSCUR /

2008S/Sより、Richard Soderbergが「OBSCUR」をスタート。

「OBSCURE」とは明確でないもの、理解されないもの、また定義する事が困難なものを表す。
英語の「OBSCURE」という単語を、古いフランス語のスペルである「OBSCUR」に変換し、ブランド名にする。
「ガーメントは着用された時にこそ真の価値が認識される」という自身の明白な信念から、
全てのコレクションを創造。リチャードの母国スウェーデンのダークで霧の深い風景や、
スウェーデンの音楽が彼のインスピレーションとなり、コレクションに反映されている。

パワフルな表現は本当のデザインを隠してしまうと考え、リチャードはミニマムなデザインを徹底している。

OBSCUR and kräfte collabolated and designed the magnetic hanger system together for OBSCUR 2015 FALL / WINTER collection.
In order to emphasise a form and a line of fine clothing,
we decided not to use columns and decoration but hung black square pipes from the ceiling
and line up hangers from the pipes creating a sensational space as if clothes were floating in the air.
The angle of hungers is adjustable allowing a more customised exhibition.
The system helps showing OBSCUR’s design philosolphy and solidality.

Richard Soderberg started ‘OBSCUR’ in 2008 S/S.
The meaning of ‘OBSCUR’ is uncertain, not easily understood or difficult to define.
The brand name of ‘OBSCUR’ is an ancient French spelling.

He designs all collections pursuing his clear belief of ‘a true value of garments is recognised when they are worn’.
The dark and foggy his country, Swedish landscape and music have become the source of his inspiration and been reflected to his collection.
Richard focuses minimum design believing that poweful expression hides genuine design.
